Caracas Fútbol Club

Caracas Fútbol Club is a Venezuelan team based in Caracas. The club has won twelve First Division titles making it the most successful in Venezuelan football history. They are nicknamed Los Rojos del Ávila, or the "Reds from Ávila". This refers to their red jerseys as well as Cerro El Ávil, a mountain near Caracas. The club proudly calls the Estadio Olímpico de la UCV its home. This iconic stadium, with a capacity of over 23,000 passionate spectators, serves as the battleground where Caracas FC has scripted unforgettable moments, victories, and heart-stopping matches.Throughout its illustrious history, Caracas FC has consistently dominated the Venezuelan football scene, clinching numerous titles and trophies. The club has secured multiple league championships, showcasing their relentless pursuit of excellence season after season. Their triumphs stand as a testament to the dedication of players, coaches, and the unwavering support of their loyal fanbase.

Founded in 1967 by a group of passionate football enthusiasts, the club quickly gained traction, showcasing its prowess on the field and earning admiration for its commitment to the beautiful game.In 1989, Dr. Guillermo Valentiner, through the Cocodrilos Sports Organization, acquired the Caracas Fútbol Club, with the aim of converting the representative currency of the capital city into a successful organization, both in sports and in appearance. organizational. Two years after the acquisition, the investment, passion and experience delivered by Guillermo Valentiner and his collaborators gave its first results by winning their first first division championship in the 1991-1992 season. Great players in the history of Venezuelan football such as Gerson Díaz and Gabriel Miranda were the protagonists of that squad. This important title allowed the team to qualify for the Copa Libertadores for the first time in its 1993 edition.
 
Since then, the history of the Caracas Fútbol Club has been marked by notable sporting performance and corporate growth, until it is currently the most winning institution in Venezuelan professional football, the main pool of footballers for the national team in its various categories and the team that has exported the most talent abroad.
