Revolution

New England Revolution is an American professional soccer club based in the Greater Boston area that competes in Major League Soccer (MLS), in the Eastern Conference of the league. New England plays their home matches at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, with 20,000 seats (expandable). The Revolution are headquartered at the Socios.com Training Center at 1776 Revolution Way in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

The Revolution are Major League Soccer’s reigning Supporters’ Shield winners after having the best record in the 2021 regular season with a league-record 73 points. New England makes its return to international club competition in the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League. The Revolution, five-time winners of the MLS Eastern Conference title, won their first major trophy in the 2007 U.S. Open Cup, before winning the 2008 North American SuperLiga the following year. 

New England enters its 27th MLS season in 2022 and its fourth under the sporting direction of Bruce Arena, the winningest coach in the history of both Major League Soccer and the United States Men’s National Team. Arena was named the MLS Coach of the Year in 2021. The Revolution roster boasts current Landon Donovan MLS Most Valuable Player Carles Gil and MLS Goalkeeper of the Year Matt Turner

The club is represented by Brian Bilello (President) and joined GFA on the 14th of August 2020. It is our 3rd GFA member club.
